The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is extremely generous and supportive of the renewable energy projects with-in new york State. 

To ensure that you qualify for the NYSERDA Grant:
Look at your utility bill; your utility bill will indicate whether you pay into the Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS)/Systems Benefits Charge (SBC) fund. Only customers who pay this charge are eligible to participate
